The foundation every injector needs. Skin anatomy and ageing, the Fitzpatrick scale and the diverse South African patient, the most common skin conditions you’ll see, and a live skin-analysis demonstration.
You’ll leave able to
- Analyse and document a patient's skin
- Classify skin type and adjust safely
- Recognise melasma, PIH, acne, rosacea
- Recommend an evidence-based routine

Neurotoxin Theory & Anatomy
How botulinum toxin works, the products available in South Africa, the facial muscles and vascular danger zones, dosing and dilution, complications, and consent & HPCSA compliance.
You’ll leave able to
- Explain mechanism, onset and duration
- Map upper-face muscles and danger zones
- Calculate safe beginner doses
- Recognise and manage complications

Supervised Practical
The heart of the weekend. Every delegate injects at least one live model — glabella, frontalis and crow’s feet — under direct, one-to-one supervision. Models are provided.
You’ll leave able to
- Inject the upper face with confidence
- Position, assess and treat a real patient
- Apply correct needle depth and technique
- Debrief and plan post-care

Common questions.
Do I need aesthetics experience?
No. The weekend is designed for HPCSA-registered doctors (MBChB) who are new to aesthetics or in their first two years. It's the foundation.
Are models provided for the practical?
Yes. Aesthetics 360 provides the live models for the supervised botulinum toxin practical, so every delegate injects under one-to-one supervision.
Is it CPD accredited?
Yes — a certificate of attendance is issued after the weekend with CPD accreditation. HPCSA registration in good standing is required to attend.
How many doctors are in the room?
A maximum of twelve, to keep the practical meaningful and the teaching personal.
